Neben dem Siegerfoto von <strong>Samuel Aranda<\/strong> aus Spanien sind nat\u00fcrlich auch wieder zahlreiche andere erstklassige Aufnahmen und Fotoserien von unter anderem <strong>Stephanie Sinclair<\/strong>, <strong>Rob Hornstra<\/strong>, <strong>Niclas Hammarstr\u00f6m<\/strong>, <strong>Damir Sagolj<\/strong>, <strong>Alejandro Kirchuk<\/strong>, <strong>Brent Stirton<\/strong>, <strong>Ton Koene<\/strong>, <strong>Adam Pretty<\/strong> und <strong>Carsten Peter<\/strong> zu sehen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Ausstellung l\u00e4uft noch bis zum 24. September, danach wandert sie weiter nach Dresden-Neustadt (28. September bis 8. Oktober) und Berlin-Friedrichstra\u00dfe (12. bis 22. Oktober in Sanaa, Jemen, ihren Sohn Zayed (18) in den Armen. Er war von  Tr\u00e4nengas getroffen worden, als er an einer Demonstration teilnahm. Anhaltende Proteste gegen das 33  Jahre andauernde Regime des autorit\u00e4ren Pr\u00e4sidenten Ali Abdullah Saleh eskalierten sp\u00e4ter an diesem  Tag. Zeugen berichteten, dass Tausende \u00fcber die Zubairy Stra\u00dfe, eine Hauptverkehrsstra\u00dfe, gelaufen  seien, und dass auf sie geschossen wurde, als sie den Regierungs-Checkpoint am Au\u00dfenministerium  erreichten. Einige Demonstranten wichen zur\u00fcck, andere gingen weiter und wurden wieder beschossen.  Es starben mindestens zw\u00f6lf Menschen und etwa 30 wurden verletzt. Frau al-Qaws\u2014selbst am  Widerstand gegen das Regime beteiligt\u2014fand ihren Sohn erst bei ihrer zweiten Suche unter den  Verwundeten in einer Moschee, die als Feldlazarett genutzt wurde. Zayed war nach dem Zwischenfall  zwei Tage im Koma. Er wurde bei weiteren Demonstrationen noch zweimal verletzt. Am 23. November  floh Pr\u00e4sident Saleh nach Saudi-Arabien und unterzeichnete eine Vereinbarung, in der er die Macht  seinem Stellvertreter Abdurabu Mansur Hadi \u00fcbertrug. Salehs Herrschaft endete formell nach der  Pr\u00e4sidentschaftswahl mit Hadis Vereidigung als Pr\u00e4sident am 25. Jedes Jahr werden Millionen von M\u00e4dchen  unter 18 Jahren auf der ganzen Welt von ihren Familien  verheiratet. Die Tradition der Kinderheirat ist nicht auf  bestimmte Kontinente, Religionen und Gesellschaftsschichten  beschr\u00e4nkt. M\u00e4dchen, die fr\u00fch heiraten, verlassen oft die  Schule. Die M\u00fctter-und Kindersterblichkeit ist hoch bei  Entbindungen unter 18 Jahren. Trotz Aufkl\u00e4rungsprogrammen  \u00fcber Gesundheit werden Kinderehen, die auch oft gegen die  Gesetze des Landes versto\u00dfen, geschlossen. Das Tier  wird rund um die Uhr bewacht. In diesem Park sind vier der  acht letzten Breitmaulnash\u00f6rner der Welt zu Hause.  Obwohl Nashorn-Horn weltweit verboten ist, steigt die  Nachfrage enorm, da die neureiche Mittelklasse Asiens sich  die begehrte, ehemals den Reichen vorbehaltene Substanz  leisten kann. Allein S\u00fcdafrika verlor 2011 \u00fcber 400  Nash\u00f6rner durch Wilderei. Es leben sch\u00e4tzungsweise nur  noch 16.000 Nash\u00f6rner, die vom Aussterben bedroht sind. Unendliche H\u00f6hle), die im Auftrag des National Geographicim PongNha-Ke Bang National Park in Vietnam entstand, erkundete Peter die H\u00f6hle Hang Son Doong. Marcos pflegte sie  selbst und bew\u00e4ltigte den emotionellen und k\u00f6rperlichen Stress eines  pflegenden Angeh\u00f6rigen. In sp\u00e4teren Stadien von Monicas Krankheit  musste er sie f\u00fcttern und das Essen vorher p\u00fcrieren, da sie nicht  kauen konnte. Im letzten Jahr ihres Lebens war Monica bettl\u00e4gerig.  Marcos musste dreimal t\u00e4glich ihre Windeln wechseln und den  vorbeischauenden Krankenschwestern helfen, ihre wundgelegenen  Stellen zu behandeln\u2014mit diesen Aktivit\u00e4ten war er fast den ganzen  Tag besch\u00e4ftigt. Sie konnte ihn kaum erkennen, aber Liebkosungen  halfen dabei, auch wenn es nur f\u00fcr Sekunden war. Gro\u00df-Sotschi, das sich 145 km entlang der K\u00fcste erstreckt,  wird besonders von russischen Urlaubern besucht, die  Sonne, Meer, Sand und Nachtleben suchen. Restaurants gibt  es im \u00dcberfluss, die Konkurrenz ist gro\u00df, und die meisten  Lokale bieten Unterhaltung an. Die S\u00e4nger jeden Alters  kommen aus allen Gesellschaftsschichten. Manche treten das  ganze Jahr hindurch an einem Ort auf, andere ziehen im  Sommer von einem Restaurant ins andere. Oft gehen  sie nur aus finanziellen Gr\u00fcnden zur Polizei\u2014ein Polizist  verdient etwa \u20ac130 im Monat\u2014, aber ihre  Regierungstreue ist gering. On 22 July, Anders Behring Breivik(32)  killed 69 people on the small island of Ut\u00f8ya, 40 kilometers northwest of Oslo,  in Norway. The shootings formed the second of two sequential attacks, the first  being a car-bomb explosion in the government quarter of the capital, which  killed eight people and injured 92. The Ut\u00f8yaincident took place less than two  hours later. The island is the site of an annual summer camp organized by the  youth division of the Norwegian Labor Party. Breivik gained access by posing as  a police officer who had come to conduct a routine check following the Oslo  bombing. He went on to shoot indiscriminately, killing and injuring people  around the island and firing on those who jumped into the water in an attempt  to escape. Local police did not have a helicopter appropriate for transporting groups of  officers, and could not find a suitable boat to reach the island. When anti-terror  police arrived from Oslo, they were eventually carried over to Ut\u00f8yaon civilian  craft, reaching the island an hour after the first shots had been fired. Breivik was arrested, and later put on terrorist charges for both attacks.
