Zur photo.COLOGNE im September 2010 geh\u00f6ren neben dem bereits zum 20. Mal stattfindenden Festival \u201eInternationale Photoszene K\u00f6ln\u201c mit rund 100 Ausstellungen und 20.000 Besuchern im Jahr auch die von der Messe veranstaltete, hochkar\u00e4tige \u201eVisual Gallery\u201c sowie das erst 2008 ins Leben gerufene \u201ek\u00f6ln fotografiert!\u201c mit einem Wettbewerb und zahlreichen Workshops f\u00fcr Hobby- und Amateurfotografen. Die IPK will durch die Zusammenarbeit Besucher aus ganz Europa anlocken und das Festival gleichzeitig straffer und professioneller aufziehen. Dazu geh\u00f6rt, dass der begleitende Katalog deutlich fr\u00fcher als bislang erscheint und die darin aufgef\u00fchrten Ausstellungen qualitativ klarer voneinander getrennt werden, um den Besuchern die Orientierung zu erleichtert, so Organisator<strong> Manfred Linke<\/strong>. Auch die Bewerbungsphase f\u00fcr teilnehmende K\u00fcnstler, Galerien und Institutionen wurde deutlich vorgezogen. Sie l\u00e4uft vom 18. Februar bis zum 31.
