Oder sagen wir besser: Sie ist einmal falsch abgebogen, als sie aus der Subway in Brooklyn auf die Smith Street Ecke 9th Street trat und statt nach rechts nach links abbog. Dort trat in eine f\u00fcr sie v\u00f6llig fremde Welt ein, die man so gar nicht mit den typischen New-York-Bildern in Verbindung bringt. Lisa Cutler war so fasziniert, dass sie zwei Jahre lang immer wieder hierherkam, um \u201edieses st\u00e4dtische, grimmige Wunderland zu fotografieren\u201c. Ihr Buch \u201eThe Hook\u201c zeigt die Sch\u00f6nheit im Chaos und Zerfall, ohne sie zu verkitschen oder zu glorifizieren.<\/p>\n<p>Im fotoMagazin habe ich die Arbeit vorgestellt und <a
