Das diesj\u00e4hrige Siegerbild von <strong>Samar Abu Elouf<\/strong> hat erneut das traurige Potenzial zum Klassiker: Es zeigt den neunj\u00e4hrigen <strong>Mahmoud Ajjour<\/strong>, der im M\u00e4rz 2024 durch einen israelischen Angriff in Gaza-Stadt beide Arme verlor.<\/p>\n<p>Neben dem Foto des Jahres wurden auch zwei der insgesamt 42 Finalisten als Zweitplatzierte ausgew\u00e4hlt: \u201eNight Crossing\u201c des US-Fotografen <strong>John Moore<\/strong> zeigt chinesische Migranten im kalten Regen, nachdem sie die Grenze zwischen den USA und Mexiko \u00fcberquert haben. Die andere Zweitplatzierung ist \u201eD\u00fcrren im Amazonas\u201c des peruanischen Fotografen <strong>Musuk Nolte<\/strong>. Das Foto zeigt einen jungen Mann, der seiner Mutter Lebensmittel bringen will. Fr\u00fcher war das Dorf mit dem Boot erreichbar, aber wegen der D\u00fcrre muss er zwei Kilometer entlang eines trockenen Flussbetts im Amazonas laufen.<\/p>\n<p>Im fotoMagazin habe ich die Gewinner
