{"id":24378,"date":"2023-05-23T20:46:50","date_gmt":"2023-05-23T18:46:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.damianzimmermann.de\/blog\/?p=24378"},"modified":"2023-05-24T07:59:20","modified_gmt":"2023-05-24T05:59:20","slug":"photography-in-progress-fragile-infrastrukturen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.damianzimmermann.de\/blog\/photography-in-progress-fragile-infrastrukturen\/","title":{"rendered":"Photography in Progress: Fragile Infrastrukturen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mit dieser gro\u00dfen Resonanz haben wir nicht gerechnet: Beim ersten Open Call der Internationalen Photoszene K\u00f6ln erhielt die Jury, zu der neben <strong>Daria Bona<\/strong>, <strong>Adelheid Komenda<\/strong>, <strong>Thomas Seelig<\/strong>, <strong>Linda Conze<\/strong>, <strong>Alexander Hagmann<\/strong> und <strong>Dana Bergmann<\/strong> auch ich geh\u00f6rte, stolze 572 Einreichungen. Das hat uns auch deshalb \u00fcberrascht, weil die Teilnahmevoraussetzungen relativ konkret und eng gefasst waren: Unter dem Titel \u201ePhotography In Progress\u201c suchten wir nach fotografischen und filmischen Arbeiten und Serien, die sich mit dem technischen Wandel, dem Fortschritt und den Auswirkungen des Mediums besch\u00e4ftigen \u2013 neue Techniken und Gebrauchsweisen von Fotografie konnten dabei genauso gemeint sein wie neue Bildsprachen. Au\u00dferdem durften die Arbeiten nicht \u00e4lter als drei Jahre und noch nicht in gr\u00f6\u00dferen Ausstellungszusammenh\u00e4ngen zu sehen gewesen sein.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr insgesamt 18 Positionen, darunter <strong>Thomas Albdorf<\/strong>, <strong>Alex Grein,<\/strong> das <strong>Darktaxa-Projekt<\/strong>, <strong>Kati Faber<\/strong>, <strong>Jon Gorospe<\/strong>, <strong>Katja Stuke &amp; Oliver Sieber<\/strong>, <strong>Sophie Meuresch<\/strong>, <strong>Tanaka Soushi<\/strong> und <strong>Maxim Zmeyev<\/strong>, haben wir uns schlie\u00dflich entschieden. Aus dieser Auswahl kuratierten Alexander Hagmann und Dana Bergmann schlie\u00dflich die Ausstellung \u201ePhotography In Progress: Fragile Infrastrukturen\u201c, die anl\u00e4sslich des <strong>Photoszene-Festivals<\/strong> noch bis zum 11. Juni 2023 in den <strong>Kunstr\u00e4umen der Michael Horbach Stiftung<\/strong> zu sehen ist.<\/p>\n<p>Meine Besprechung der Ausstellung ist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.photoszene.de\/de\/diskurs\/l-fritz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">im neuen L.
