Der 1958 geborene Isl\u00e4nder reist seit mehr als 40 Jahren durch seine Heimat, besucht aber auch andere entlegene Gebiete Gr\u00f6nlands, Nordskandinaviens und Sibiriens, um Landschaften, Tiere und nicht zuletzt den Alltag der Menschen mit seinen atemberaubenden Schwarzwei\u00df-Bildern zu dokumentieren. &#8222;Where the World is Melting&#8220; im PHOXXI der <strong>Deichtorhallen Hamburg<\/strong> ist noch bis zum 18. Juni 2023 seine erste Retrospektive zu sehen.<\/p>\n<p>Aus diesem Anlass habe ich mich f\u00fcr das Halle4-Magazin der Deichtorhallen mit Axelsson und anderen Fotografen wie <strong>Igor Elukov<\/strong>, <strong>Gideon Mendel<\/strong>, <strong>Gregor Sailer<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Claudius Schulze<\/strong> und <strong>Fabiano Ventura<\/strong> besch\u00e4ftigt, die sich dem
