{"id":21658,"date":"2020-05-07T09:27:39","date_gmt":"2020-05-07T07:27:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.damianzimmermann.de\/blog\/?p=21658"},"modified":"2020-05-07T09:31:55","modified_gmt":"2020-05-07T07:31:55","slug":"interview-mit-sue-barr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.damianzimmermann.de\/blog\/interview-mit-sue-barr\/","title":{"rendered":"Interview mit Sue Barr"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Im August habe ich bereits das Buch <a href=\"https:\/\/www.damianzimmermann.de\/blog\/the-architecture-of-transit-von-sue-barr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Architecture of Transit<\/a> von <strong>Sue Barr<\/strong> vorgestellt, f\u00fcr die ProfiFoto konnte ich die britische Fotografin zum Interview treffen. Barr, die Professorin f\u00fcr Fotografie an der <strong>Architectural Association School of Architecture<\/strong> in London ist und sich seit Jahren mit brutalistischer Architektur besch\u00e4ftigt, hat f\u00fcr ihr Projekt Autobahnen zwischen den Alpen und Neapel mit ihrer Gro\u00dfformatkamera fotografiert und dabei Perspektiven eingenommen, die den meisten von uns verborgen bleiben.<\/p>\n<p>Dabei bezieht sie sich nicht nur offensichtlich auf die <strong>New Topographic<\/strong>-Bewegung, die die vom Menschen ver\u00e4nderte Landschaft dokumentiert, sondern auch auf den amerikanischen Kriegs- und Landschaftsfotografen <strong>Timothy O\u2019Sullivan<\/strong>. Vor allem aber st\u00fctzt sich ihre Arbeit auf den Ansatz, dass viele gro\u00dfe, europ\u00e4ische Verbindungsstra\u00dfen ihre Wurzeln in der sogenannten <strong>Grand Tour<\/strong> des 17. und 18. Jahrhunderts haben, als die S\u00f6hne des Adels durch Mittel- und S\u00fcdeuropa reisten, um sich die historischen Baudenkm\u00e4ler vor Ort anzuschauen.
