{"id":17911,"date":"2016-02-12T15:53:03","date_gmt":"2016-02-12T14:53:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.damianzimmermann.de\/blog\/?p=17911"},"modified":"2019-03-22T14:08:46","modified_gmt":"2019-03-22T13:08:46","slug":"geschichte-der-zeitgenossischen-photographie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.damianzimmermann.de\/blog\/geschichte-der-zeitgenossischen-photographie\/","title":{"rendered":"Geschichte der zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Photographie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ich werde immer skeptisch, wenn ein Buch einem die Geschichte der Fotografie erkl\u00e4ren will &#8211; weil es meistens sehr oberfl\u00e4chig ist und nur die ohnehin schon bekannten Positionen zeigt oder weil es, meist aus rechtlichen Gr\u00fcnden, nur ein sehr eingeschr\u00e4nktes Bildmaterial zur Verf\u00fcgung hat und die Auswahl entsprechend reduziert und unter Umst\u00e4nden auch subjektiv gef\u00e4rbt ist.<\/p>\n<p>Das nun erschienene Buch \u201eDie gro\u00dfe Geschichte der zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Photographie \u2013 1960 bis heute\u201c ist da allerdings etwas anders. Herausgegeben von <strong>Quentin Bajac<\/strong>, <strong>Lucy Gallun<\/strong>, <strong>Roxana Marcoci<\/strong> und <strong>Sarah Hermanson Meister<\/strong> wirft es unaufgeregt einen Blick auf die vergangenen Jahrzehnte und bedient sich dabei aus der fotografischen Sammlung des Museum of Modern Art in New York, die zu den gr\u00f6\u00dften der Welt z\u00e4hlt. Zwei weitere, sich noch in Planung befindliche B\u00e4nde sollen den \u00dcberblick abschlie\u00dfen &#8211; und die Reihe vielleicht zum neuen Standardwerk machen.
